Residence Life Handbook
As Residence Life, we provide the in-house services for residents and its operations. Our main priority is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. To assist in your transition, we encourage you to read this booklet carefully in order to become more familiar with your place of residence at MSOE. This booklet provides information on the services, facilities, and opportunities offered by our Residence Halls.
The nature and quality of your living-learning environment plays an important part in your university education. In planning, staffing, and operating our Residence Halls, we seek to meet student needs in every way possible. Through your Residence Hall Association, students have helped provide facilities they felt would make the halls an even more pleasant place to live. The Residence Life staff is here to help you with those questions and problems associated with the adjustment to university life and group-living situations. If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask us. We are happy to help!
An understanding of and respect for the rights of others is very important in making Residence Hall life successful for all. Residence Hall living at MSOE is designed to provide individual freedom, limited only by regulations essential to harmonious group living. Your cooperation, participation, and helpful contributions are necessary for the success of the resident halls.
