Living on campus is a great way to meet new people, experience Milwaukee events and have the convenience of accessing all campus resources nearby. Nearly all first-year and second-year students live on campus in one of our residential buildings. All unmarried first-year and second-year students under 21 live in one of our residential buildings unless they live within 30 miles of campus with their parents at their primary residence. Students completing their residency requirements are required to have a meal plan.
Students' current room and meal plan information is on their myMSOE student page.
Our residential experience offers ample student engagement opportunities, including Living-Learning Communities. MSOE features three Living-Learning Communities (LLC) in the residence halls. LLCs allow students to extend their learning beyond the classroom and enable the university to continue fostering the growth of the MSOE Mindset. LLCs create comprehensive learning environments that heighten student engagement with faculty, peers, and their learning.
